At Philip Stein & Associates, we believe in being a part of the local conversation and movement towards businesses that create positive change in the world. We’re focusing on our local community in Israel where we can make relevant and significant contributions. We are proud to integrate the following program into the Philip Stein & Associates family:
Round-Up is a non-profit organization that works to improve Israeli society by enabling every Israeli to make a significant impact on society. The organization was founded in 2008 by Orni Petruschka, Jacob Burak and Yehoshua Agassi with the goal of expanding the circle of philanthropy in Israel.
This fabulous charity (which is tax deductible) is called Haagudah L’ Torah v’T’filla in memory of Eliezer Shor and collects money for poor soldiers around Pesach. (Note: Please write out donation this year out to Sela instead of Haaguda L’ Torah vTfilla). These kids literally often cannot go home because there is no chicken for them to eat and occasionally, their officers are able to designate especially needy soldiers and grant them a larger amount of holiday cash for their family.
Last year, Philip Stein & Associates and the Shor’s collected and distributed 90,000 NIS to about 350 soldiers regardless of their religion or gender. Each year we are more enthusiastic to continue outreach to you in order to enlarge the circle of support for this great cause.
As we approach Pesach this year, we will be collecting donations for Kimcha Depischa as in previous years. Read about Philip’s raising money experiences in his blog. There are more than a few options for payment:

Very proud to have received “Outstanding Community Service 2014” Award from Leading Edge Alliance. Learn more and contribute to our 1/1/1 initiative: http://www.pstein.com/community/
We are proud to introduce our latest social initiative, the 1/1/1 model. We have commited to donate 1% of firm revenue, 1% of employee time, and 1% of firm services to the community. We strive to inspire others to do the same.
Throughout the year, our staff will be involved in volunteer programs that include both firm-wide and individual initiatives. Our employees are dedicated people who desire to contribute to the community. By providing each employee with three paid days off to volunteer at the NGO of their choice, we encourage them to choose causes that they are passionate about and help advance solutions to social and environmental problems.
SO WHERE DO YOU COME IN?
As part of our commitment to donate 1% of firm revenue, we have partnered with two incredible organizations.
1. Yad Eliezer – one of Israel’s leading poverty relief NGOs.
2. Hibuk Rishon (First Hug Association)- a non-profit organization that provides hospitalized abandoned babies with the love and support that they lack due to their dire circumstances.
As one of our valued clients, you are encouraged to visit the links below and consider a contribution. We will match your contribution of up to ₪ 1,200 or $360 to the organization of your choice.
Our 1/1/1 model is inspired by SalesForce.com Foundation.
See pix from our day @ Leket Israel- our entire staff volunteering at selecting, sorting and packaging fruits and vegetables for needy families.
The Israel Cancer Association (ICA) was founded in 1952, with the goal of improving the quality of life of cancer patients. ICA has earned its widespread recognition, as a spearhead in the fight against cancer. The voluntary organization works with health authorities, but all its activities are funded solely by private contributions, with no government funding. Join Philip Stein & Associates in supporting the ICA by learning more about their activity.
Or Yarok is an Israeli associationץ Founded in ’97 in order to educate Israelis to drive safely due to recognition of the critical importance of the uncompromising struggle against traffic accidents and the importance of community involvement in the struggle.
